Empire: Total War was my first major project requiring multiple tracks.
A handful of composers were involved on the music side and, as a part of that team, I was personally responsible for 19 tracks used in the finished game.
The highlight of working on this would have had to have been travelling to Bratislava for the live orchestral recording of the music which, after a gruelling schedule was a hugely rewarding experience.
As a long time fanboy of the Total War series (played since Shogun: Total War), this was a dream job.
The score eventually went on to be nominated for an Ivor Novello.
