Nothing says ‘cool’ and ‘sleek’ like slap bass… so I used this liberally to get things going and for a while got a little carried away. I pared this back though to match the minimalistic beginning in the visuals. I started the audio small before erupting into a glittery wave of ‘borderless’ washy synths and high pitched tuned percussion.
Marrying the colours with the movement of the visuals was a little finicky, but by creating lots of microsections it came together in the end.
I originally worked to a :60 which I was enamoured with, but the :30 that aired, if anything, accentuated the colliding sections more profoundly.
