The vast landscapes inspired me to create an expansive sound and the way the film was edited made the project feel more like writing a track for the foreground rather than scoring behind a picture.
I was also responsible for the music played throughout the catwalk portion of the show, as well as for Cavalli’s Menswear Spring/Summer 2015 show which both took place at Milan Fashion Week.
The catwalk aspect was essentially a huge playlist that needed to be sown together seamlessly and in such a way that created the most momentum, tying the theme of the show together. Making the songs blend when often they were so opposing was hugely enjoyable along with mashing up some eclectic songs and even turning an Aerosmith song into a house track…
